Dr. Rheanna Robinson

Dr. Rheanna Robinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of First Nations Studies at the University of Northern British Columbia. Dr. Robinson was raised in the community of Smithers and is Métis and a member of the Manitoba Métis Federation. She has expertise in Indigenous Education, Indigenous Disability Studies, Indigenous theory and methods, and community-based research. Her most recent research interests are profiling traditional perspectives and contemporary experiences Indigenous peoples have with disability and she deeply values the role of Indigenous Knowledge (IK) has within her teaching and research.
